The Big House

Florida's Panhandle Beaches are rated as some of the most beautiful in the world and looking out from the 360 degree decks of The Big House allows you to take in those panoramic views at any time of the day from sunrise to sunset. This spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath family home is located less than 1/2 mile from the entrance to the Nat'l Seashore and lies 1/2 way between Pensacola and the Ft Walton Beach/Destin area. It's an easy walk to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico if you decide you want to lie on the beach and look for dolphins or you may choose to float in your own private in-ground pool next to the house. 

"The Big House" (named by the owner's small son when he was 3 yrs old), is a fabulous family friendly home. There is a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, and separate cooking island which allows for fun-filled breakfasts & dinners. The huge wrap around decks are ideal for enjoying coffee in the am and cocktails at sunset. The owner offers lots of entertainment extras such as wireless internet, cable tv with premium channels/dvd's/HD DVR, video library, Books, toys for the kids and an air hockey/ping pong/pool table. The kids will never say, "I'm Bored"! 

There is a bike path that runs the full 3 mile length of the island and there are bike, kayak, jet ski rentals available. Also a very nice boat launch is located right next to the bridge if you want to bring your boat with you...plenty of room to park it at the house. "The Big House" is not your normal beach rental. Big rooms, huge bathrooms, double sink vanities, etc..all combine to make this a special time and gives everyone their own space. Very quiet and PRIVATE! Availability Calendar
